GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to the spirit of giving and making a positive impact, was created in 2012. At Bridge to the Future Foundation, we wholeheartedly embrace this concept and work tirelessly to meet the felt needs of underserved communities. In Tijuana, Mexico, we initiated the Letics Sports Tijuana FC, a youth soccer club, with a noble mission to combat human trafficking and violence. Operating in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods of the world's most dangerous city, this club offers a safe haven for young individuals. Through the power of sports, mentorship, and education, we aim to steer these vulnerable children away from harmful influences and provide them with a chance for a better future.
Thanks to your support, Bridge to the Future Foundation can provide essential services to those in need. Here are some of the services we offer through our projects:
Housing, Food, and Clothing: We strive to ensure that individuals and families have access to safe and secure housing, nutritious meals, and adequate clothing. By addressing these basic needs, we create a stable foundation from which individuals can thrive.
School Expenses: Education is a transformative force, and we believe that every child deserves access to quality education. With your help, we support students by covering school-related expenses, such as tuition fees, uniforms, books, and supplies.
Community Service and Home Building: We actively engage community members in various service projects, fostering a sense of unity and empowerment. Additionally, we work towards constructing homes for families in need, providing them with a safe and stable living environment.
Through your generous support, we are proud to share that Letics Sports Tijuana FC currently supports 12 teams and over 400 individuals. These young athletes and their families are part of a larger community, united in their pursuit of a brighter future. However, as our reach expands and we welcome more children and families, our resources are continually diminishing.
