The Letics Sport Club, en route to the North Cup in Vizcaino, Baja California Sur, faced an unfathomable tragedy. Jassad Ayub Castellanos, the dedicated player and goalkeeper of the Tijuana Intermediate League's 2006/2007 category selection, tragically lost his life in a devastating accident on June 22, 2023.

The wake will be held at the Latin American Funeral Home on Sunday, the 25th of June, commencing at 6 PM. We extend an invitation to all who have been touched by Jassad's spirit to join us in bidding him a final farewell, at the Platinum Room on the second floor.
Today, as the league honors outstanding achievements, we acknowledge that Jassad has posthumously received the prestigious title of the Sub20 League's top goalkeeper. In a poignant tribute, a few young men will step forward to accept this accolade on his behalf.
